Few of  the Annes of Rotary Greater cochin provided Floor Tiles for the 500 Sq. ft maintenance work in the Nirmala Sishu Bhavan, S R M Road, Ernakulam worth Rs. 14000/- on 13th of  March 2021. The inmates of Nirmala Sishu Bhavan are children aged 0 - 7 years and few pregnant ladies. President Rtn P. Krishnadas, Rtne. Bini Krishnadas, tne KAveri Subramanian & Rtn. Community Project - Free Eye camp by Lotus Hospital, Coimbatore

We the Rotary Club of Coimbaaaatore Smart city on 19.2.2021, conducted a free camp at the blossom flea market at Jenny's Residency. Approximate 50 patients were screened free of cost with proper refraction assessment. Project worth Rs. 20,000 was done along with Lotus Eye Hospital and Institute. The Number of beneficiaries is 50 and the Rotarians participated are 30

District Priority Project - Environment - HOPE VANAM = 31.1.2021

Hope Vanam Chair Rtn. PHF Manish Vyas updated about the Vanam project regarding the completion of phase 1 and start of phase 2. The project is expected to be completed by March 2021 end. Till now 13,000 trees have been planted.

Sponsorship of Term fee of a special child - 4.12.2021

In reference to the request we received from Vivekalaya school regarding the school term fee of Rs. 26000 towards the special child education. Rtn. Nitin came forward to contribute Rs. 6000 and another well wisher contributed Rs. 20,000 towards the fee for the child. A cheque of Rs. 26000 was handed over to the child at Vivekalaya school on 4th Dec.

Installation of a computer system:

We are delighted to share that our Anette Dr. Neeharika Sunku who has been working with boys orphanage called Don Bosco Anbu Ilam donated the computer system to the orphanage through our club Smartcity. We are very proud of our Anette Dr. Neeharika for this wonderful gesture. She has been associated with the orphanage and was teaching English to the children every Sunday. She has also come forward to help them in whatever way she would be able to contribute. It would benefit 150 boys who live in this orphanage. Annette Rudraksha Sharma entertained the kids with his guitar.

COMMUNITY PROJECT - ROTI BANK COIMBATORE PROJECT: 31.1.2021

Roti bank Coimbatore has served 33750 meals till Jan 31st 2021 costing approximately Rs. 5,73,750. Rtn. Narayan Gupta updated about Roti Bank project. He requested members to participate more in the project and find out companies who can sponsor meals through CSR. Rtn. Dr. Bharat Gupta proposed to continue the project for the coming years, and the proposal was accepted and passed unanimously by the members present in the meeting on continuing this roti bank project for the coming years also. For the purpose of this there is a proposal of formation of a committee under Rtn. Narayan which will work towards the project along with incoming president and future presidents. Roti bank Mumbai has contributed Rs. 5 lakhs towards the project to support us. Our honorary member, Rtn. Neelam Bhavnani has donated Rs. 36000 towards Roti bank project.No of beneficiaries 250

Dr. Thomas Maliyakal & Mr. Basil Joseph represented our partner organisation - Sehiyoon Society. Br. Joseph represented the Cottolengo Institute.

National Immunization day 31st Jan 2021
